Kind Teleprompter does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All your scripts, recordings, and settings are stored locally on your device.

The only information the developer receives is anonymous aggregate data from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, such as the number of installs, country of install, and crash reports. This information is provided automatically to all developers and does not include personal data.

Permissions Used

  • Microphone (Record Audio): Used to allow speech recognition or record your presentations. Audio is processed on your device and not sent externally.
  • Camera: Used for video recording while using the teleprompter. Videos are stored locally on your device and never transmitted.
  • Internet: Used for crash reporting, updating speech recognition models, or linking to resources. No personal data is transmitted.
  • Foreground Service & Wake Lock: Used to keep the screen and app active during recording or prompting.

All permissions are used only for the core functionality of the app. No personal data is collected or sent externally.

Security

All data remains on your device and is stored locally in app preferences and local storage. This data is not encrypted but is only accessible by the app unless your device is compromised.

Children

Kind Teleprompter does not knowingly collect data from children. In fact, it collects no data from anyone.

Third-Party Links & Services

The app may use open-source packages. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of those packages if you’re concerned about third-party data behavior. However, Kind Teleprompter itself does not transmit any data to third parties.
